New Location. New Beginnings
It’s been a good while since I last checked in, but that’s because life has been… a lot. A move to Baltimore City and general life happenings, has meant that I haven’t had much time (or space) to focus or work on much in the way of music or merch, but that will be changing very soon.
The next chapter of Media Pimp Studios is coming with a few pretty major changes, that will impact the future of GRYSKLL and myself in some big and meaningful ways. The short of it, is my long time friend — once my producer and engineer, as well as the person I learned, and continue to learn from — Kwaz (aka Pixel, and Kwesi Kobie in the House music world) and I are setting up a new studio space together!
As things progress, I’ll be keeping you all updated (there will be BTS video documenting the happenings), but in the meantime, keep an ear out for new music from GRYSKLL that we’ve got dropping over the next few months, and hopefully through the rest of the year. If you haven’t been keeping up, be sure to check out the music we’ve already dropped this year. It’s been a busy few months for GRYSKLL, and we have some pretty exciting things happening. More on that at a later date.
So with that… on to new music releases. A couple that I’ve featured on, all mixed and mastered by me (except House of Cards, which was mastered by Curt G), some DOPE collaborations, our first song featuring one of our newest members — PaulBWon that kicked off the new year and a song over a track by one of our newest beat makers — Curt G, featuring the incredibly talented Keiko (you’ll be hearing more from her soon!) that we released on Dragon Pitchfork’s and My birthday (April 3rd).
