Q. aka Media Pimp

Q. aka Media Pimp, is an eMCee, producer/beatmaker, and engineer, with a background as a visual/interactive designer and coder. After a 20+ year period away from creating music, he experienced a few life-changing events that ultimately lead him back to it.

Joining the ranks of the Hip-Hop collective known as GRYSKLL, Q. aka Media Pimp found his way back to the mic, after reconnecting with long time friend Dragon’s Pitchfork, one of the founding members. Since returning to the world of Hip-Hop, he has released the song Bleeding Out, produced by himself, and featuring fellow crew members Demond Dushawn and Zo the Instrument Being. It was his first song in over 20 years, and also how he fell in love with audio engineering.

A few years in, Q. aka Media Pimp has now become responsible for helping to shape the sound of GRYSKLL as the lead engineer, featured on several songs, produced, co-produced and mixed several songs with the crew as well as released a few solo singles. Currently, he’s working on an EP planned for release in 2024.
